Vallnord recorded an increase in visitors during December Bridge

Vallnord starts the season with force and closes the Purísima Bridge after receiving a total of 27,906 visitors in its stations. A favorable meteorology and the intense work done on the slopes to maintain its conditions have led to the first important appointment of the season being closed registering an increase of 8,000 skiers compared to the December bridge last year.

The almost 28,000 skiers and snowboarders who have visited Vallnord in this macropuente have also enjoyed the night offer in restoration as well as the complementary activities, as can be seen from the remarkable evolution that both proposals have shown.

During this first week of December, Vallnord - Pal Arinsal has received a total of 18,741 visitors , who have enjoyed during these days approximately 60% of the open slopes and 80% of the ski lifts.

Freestylers have also been rewarded for their efforts by the staff of Vallnord - Pal Arinsal. The Snowpark of Arinsal has kept a line of seven modules enabled throughout the week, whose jumps have been observed from the new terrace of the renovated Chalé Igloo de Arinsal (180 m2), which opened doors last Saturday.

Josep Marticella, director of Vallnord - Pal Arinsal, stressed that the excellent data recorded during this bridge "allow us to start the season with guarantees and face the upcoming Christmas holidays with optimism."

On the other hand, the Ordino station is overcome again and continues to achieve historical data. Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís has received more than 9,100 skiers , exceeding the number of visitors who used the bridge last winter, and leading the station to improve rates only exceeded the 2004-2005 season.

The increased number of users enjoyed exceptional snow conditions with thick between 20 and 50 centimeters of powder snow . The good conditions were progressively improving throughout the holiday week with the opening of new tracks thanks to the production of snow and the work done by the station staff.

From the station, the director of Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís, Xabier Ajona, celebrates once again the improvement of the data and appreciates the efforts of the station staff, which demonstrates the will to grow season after season.

Vallnord - Pal Arinsal and Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís close the bridge but do not stop the activity. The two stations are already immersed in the works to guarantee the best facilities for the Christmas holidays.
