Vallnord close the winter season on April 7

Vallnord closed Easter Monday registering an average of 8,500 skiers per day in its three sectors - Arcalís, Arinsal and Pal. This Zifra an increase of 13% from the season Passada. Remember Vallnord winter season closes on Sunday April 7 and prepare for the summer beginning on June 15.

The favorable schedule and the amount of snow accumulated in the three sectors have led to Vallnord meet the expectations set for this Easter. During these four days, there has been an average of 8500 skiers per day, representing about 1000 skiers from the same period last season.

The main client of this holiday period were families from mainly Spanish state. Skiers have been enjoying a variable time, with sun in the morning and some snow at higher elevations during the nights. These localized precipitation allowed to enjoy a good snow conditions during these days.

Seasonal closure
Vallnord winter season closes next Sunday, April 7, as scheduled. During this last week, the three sectors foresee open between 90% and 100% of Facilities with thick accumulated 210 to 310cms in Arcalís and between 130 and 180 cm in Arinsal and Pal.
