[UPDATED ON 3/29/2017]
The storm of rain, wind and snow left last weekend, mainly on Saturday, March 25, historical snowfall at low levels for a month of March. The snow returned to the Pyrenees thanks to a cold front that swept the Peninsula from west to east, and left up to 25 centimeters at high levels.
Without a doubt, the fresh snow has given a final boost to the ski resorts, improving the quality of the slopes and allowing them to face the final stretch of the ski season with optimism. Below you can see how well the seasons are maintained:

[NEWS PUBLISHED ON 03/20/2017]
After the current truce of good weather in much of the peninsula , this Monday, March 20, the entry of spring arrives with snow forecast at very low levels and intense cold. Thus, paradoxically, the almost summery weather comes to an end: the meteorological parts indicate that the ski resorts will receive, as of tomorrow, snowfalls that will extend to Friday, and that will intensify on Saturday, March 25 .
This will mark a turning point and return the winter to the Iberian Peninsula, with snowfall that will affect all mountain ranges. It seems, then, that the ski season is not over yet. If you want to check it out for yourself, check out our webcams of the ski resorts and you will see that the slopes are kept in a spectacular state.
Although the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) notes that the snowfall is imminent , it should be noted that they are only predictions and that, as indicated by its own name, we will have to wait to see how they progress. At the moment, Andorra, the Catalan Pyrenees and the Aragonese, make full and offer more than 90% of its ski area .
