The Panticosa Spa reopens its new season on July 10

The opening of the complex will coincide with the start of the VIII International Festival of Panticosa Touching the Sky , which will take place from July 17 to 24.

The Panticosa Spa will implement all the sanitary measures required at this time, scrupulously abiding by the protocols drawn up by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality, in collaboration with the Secretary of State for Tourism.

The Panticosa Spa , a tourist destination located in the heart of the Huesca Pyrenees, will coincide with the start of the VIII International Panticosa Festival Touching the Sky, which has confirmed its Musical Campus and Chamber Music Concert Cycle, from 17 to 24 July.

The fantastic natural environment of the Panticosa Spa and its modern and extensive facilities make this destination ideal for organizing the Panticosa Festival, and for those who want to flee from the crowds, reunite with nature and breathe fresh air .

Since the same date that the Panticosa Spa closed its facilities due to force majeure, on March 15, it has been working with a single objective: the reopening of the facilities as soon as possible, with full security guarantees for both workers as for guests. For this reason, the complex's maintenance team has combined its usual tasks with other cleaning, adaptation and disinfection tasks.

At the same time, the company Desinfecciones Aerosol, regularly in charge of the treatment and control of the Spa's waters, has carried out a first comprehensive disinfection using the product OX-VIRIN, a high-level disinfectant effective against enveloped viruses, in accordance with the European standard UNE EN 14476. This operation will be repeated two weeks from the date scheduled for the reopening of the facilities.

To supervise and guarantee the proper functioning of all the measures implemented, the Panticosa Spa will appoint a Management and Safety Committee headed by the General Directorate, the Medical Director of the complex and those responsible for the different operations departments.

On the other hand, the activities planned for the summer include all kinds of guided excursions, hiking, zip lines, or cultural and gastronomic events in which to taste the best recipes of the Pyrenees. It will also continue the rental service of recreational boats in the ibón de Baños, children's and family entertainment, family excursions to discover the surroundings of the Spa, the Mountain Bike and Trail Running Circuits in the area that in winter season offers a cross-country ski circuit, and a long etc.

In the words of Jesús María González, General Director of the Resort Balneario de Panticosa :

“Despite the difficulties, we are very excited about the upcoming reopening of our facilities. This will allow us to gradually recover and depending on demand for workers affected by ERTE, and return to normal. In this sense, the Panticosa Spa and its natural environment could be therapeutic after these months of confinement. That's one of our goals.
