1 Sierra Nevada bets on sports competitions

Sierra Nevada closed last Sunday, April 23, the 2016-2017 season, one of the best in its history, with 955,521 skiers and 195,293 non-skier users.

These figures (the second best of the decade, only surpassed by the season 2008/2009, that lasted one month more), reflect a strong increase with respect to the previous campaign, that was badly weighed by the lack of snow in its beginning.

This sports program has been carried out in 33 days of official competitions, in which a total of 2,898 athletes participated, among children, young people, absolute and veterans, between the ages of 3 and 85 years.
