Grandvalira will offer the best conditions of the last seasons facing the Purísima Bridge. Thanks to the drop in temperatures in recent days, the exploitation team has been able to continue working with intensity while the cannons for cultivation snow have been activated; This has allowed the resort to guarantee magnificent snow conditions, ensure skiable links between all its sectors, expand the ski area and provide high occupancy during the days 6.7 and 8 December.

Grandvalira will expand its skiable domain to 122 km during the days of the bridge , with thicknesses ranging between 15 and 40 centimeters of powder snow, and will make a total of 68 tracks and 55 lifts available to skiers.

Adventure and family activities

Grandvalira will make available to the public an extensive catalog of activities spread throughout the ski area. In the Mountain Park of the Grau Roig sector, the resort will offer snowshoe excursions, igloo construction, orientation, Arva, archery, mushing (2, 3 and 5 km) and snowmobiles in the Cap del Port de Envalira . In El Tarter, users can enjoy mushing and First Snow and the Mon (t) Magic Family Park of Canillo will enable the zip line and the alpine slide Magic Gliss. In Soldeu, the activities of First Snow, the tour with Ratrac Groomers Ride and panoramic helicopter flights are maintained, in the Piolet Plan.

New pedagogy applied to skiing with the Kids Program

The largest resort in southern Europe this winter season incorporates a new pedagogy applied to skiing known as the Kids Program , which includes a program with various activities within the Yôkay children's circuits, Bababoom Circus circuit and Mon (t) Magic. In addition, the Kids Program offers snowboard lessons from 3 years old through the new Burton Riglet program.

The entire gastronomic offer

The resort will open 100% of the catering establishments facing the Purísima Bridge. The novelties include the Wine & Meat Bar by Jean Leon , a bistronomic restaurant in the Soldeu sector with high-end products and a casual service, and the Burguer Brothers , which offers homemade hamburgers with a pleasant and informal atmosphere.

Grandvalira offers a wide variety of restaurants with a gastronomic offer adapted to all palates , from gourmet to traditional cuisine. Among others, Cala Bassa Costa Rodona and Coll Blanc KSB will be open in the Pas de la Casa. Grau Roig will have the Llac de Pessons Shelter, Vodka Bar, 3 Lakes, Brasserie Piolet and Llac de Cubil available to skiers. In Soldeu the Veuve Clicquot Terrace and La Cabana will open. In the El Tarter sector you can enjoy the gastronomic offer of L'Arrosseria Pi de Migdia and Pi de Migdia Self, l'Abarset, La Trattoria and the Snow Club El Tarter. Canillo will have the Roc de les Bruixes and Encamp, the Andburguer and the Solanelles Restaurant open.

Après-ski season premiere party

Après Amélie will open the après-ski season on Thursday the 5th with the performance of DJ Ángel de Andrés. On the 6th, Marco Montalvo will play, on the 7th there will be the main performance of Pablo Luque, in addition to those of Angel de Andrés, Asun James with Borja Delanera and Kurt Heisz and on the 8th, to close the parties of the Purisima Bridge, Albors .

The L'Abarset restaurant will celebrate this Friday, December 6, the official opening of the après-ski festival calendar with the performance of Law J; on the 7th he will play Ion Pananides and the 8th, Alex Pott.

Sunset Park Peretol by Henry Harlaut opens during normal business hours

For freestyle lovers who want to extend the day until night in Grandvalira , the Sunset Park Peretol by Henrik Harlaut - the only night snowpark in the Pyrenees - opens at normal hours from Friday, December 6, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. . For its part, the renewed SnowPark El Tarter will open the upper part from 11am to 4pm.

Where to park in Grandvalira

The resort will make available to the skiers several car park points distributed throughout the domain; in the Encamp sector the covered car park of the Funicamp and the discovered of Encamp (both paid) will be open; in the sector El Tarter will be the Obac uncovered car park (free); the Grau Roig sector, the Grau Roig and Cubil outdoor car parks (both free); and in the Pas de la Casa sector, the Abelletes (paid) and Costa Rodona (free) open car parks.

90% of tracks and lifts in Ordino Arcalís

The Ordino Arcalís resort, fully integrated into the Grandvalira Resorts group, plans to open the Purísima Bridge with 90% of the slopes and ski lifts. The Ordino snow domain will have all operational restoration points, as well as the Ski and Snowboard School, the snow garden and the nursery, in addition to the activities. The condition of the tracks, with a quality of powder snow, combined with the work of the technical inivation teams that ensure the maintenance of the conditions, will make the resort work at full capacity with thicknesses between 30 and 50 cm.
