On Sunday , January 15, World Snow Day is officially celebrated although Baqueira Beret extends the advantages of this promotion to the weekends of January 14-15 and 21-22 . This event, sponsored by the International Ski Federation (FIS) since 2007, was born with the aim of spreading winter sports across the planet and bringing snow to children and their families.

One more year, Baquera Beret joins this project to convey the benefits of winter sports, the importance of enjoying these with civics and responsibility and the need to preserve the environment.

Baqueira Beret will also propose activities for the little ones. On Saturday 14, from 11.00 to 13.00, next to Beret's cafeteria, a snowman contest will be organized in which children will have the opportunity to let their imagination fly and create their own doll.

The fun, in turn, will be transferred to social networks through the “World Snow Day” contest: all those visitors who share in Baqueira profiles their funniest photo of January 14 and 15 at the resort, enjoying from some World Snow Day activity with the hashtag #baqueiraworldsnowday, they can win two two-day passes.
