The resorts of Grandvalira Resorts have received these last days up to 55 accumulated centimeters of new snow with which, together with the drop in temperatures, favorable for snow production, the domains contemplate a significant expansion of the available slopes for this weekend. Thus, Grandvalira Resorts plan to offer a total of more than 270 skiable kilometres from Saturday onwards, of which about 180 km correspond to Grandvalira, which will have more than 115 slopes open, and thicknesses of up to 105 centimeters of powder snow thanks to the 55 cm of new snow that has fallen in recent days.

Meanwhile, Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís, which have received 45 and 50 centimeters of new snow respectively, plan to open 100% of the slopes and lifts from Saturday, weather permitting. The resort of La Massana has thicknesses of up to 80 centimeters of powder snow and Ordino Arcalís has up to 120 cm of powder snow.

Ordino Arcalís opens 100% of its ski slopes.

The new snow precipitations of the last few days have increased the bookings for the month of March, so Grandvalira Resorts predicts very good forecasts of visitors, both from international and local markets, between now and the end of the season, set for Sunday, April 7. It is also worth mentioning that weather forecasts announce more snowfalls for the weekend.

UNICEF Brunch at Racó de Solanelles

On Saturday 2 will take place the Solidarity Brunch organized by Grandvalira Social together with the National Committee of Andorra for UNICEF. In this case, the proceeds will go to the hotel offer of this charity organization in Madagascar for children in climatic emergency.

The weekend will bring another solidarity action to Grandvalira Resorts with the celebration of the 7th edition of the Skimo Femení in Pal Arinsal on Sunday, a sports day held as part of the International Women's Day with the aim of promoting women's rights. a International Women's Day with the aim of promoting the practice of snow sports in the female ski area and that, for the first time, scores for the Andorra Ski Mountaineering Cup.

Beyond the sporting character, the event has a festive and playful aspect and, above all, solidarity, since part of the funds raised are destined to the AUTEA association, which works for the inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder.

The party at L'Abarset never stops and the après-ski temple is getting ready for a new weekend of music and entertainment. On Thursday a new edition of the San Miguel (never) chill thursdays returns with Viktor Ollé and one of his sessions full of indie, rock, electronic and postpunk, while on Friday it will be Jaec Joss and the content creator Luc Loren who will play in the booth of the famous venue in the El Tarter ski area, as part of the San Miguel Snow Beer Days.
