1 OPENING CONDITIONS

1.1 Pas de la Casa i Grau Roig sectors (connected by track)

Grandvalira opens the 2019-20 season on Saturday, November 23 with the partial opening of the Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig sectors linked by track. The Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp sectors will open, as planned, from November 30.

Thanks to the drop in temperatures in recent weeks, the snow production network has been active practically without interruption and the field teams are working hard to ensure the best snow conditions. Beginning Monday, November 25, Grandvalira will keep its doors open to skiers and technicians will continue without pause on the ground, with the aim of progressively opening more tracks and lifts until the resort reaches its full performance.

In the face of the partial opening, Grandvalira has set the price of the pre-season day pass at 40 euros for adults / juniors and 30 euros for children (purchase online and at the ticket office). Grandvalira seasonal passes can be picked up at the ticket offices at Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa, El Tarter and the Illa Carlemany stand. Customers who have selected the pick-up in the Funicamp in the purchase process, may do so in Grau Roig and those who have placed Canillo and Soldeu, may pick it up at El Tarter. The schedule for this last box office will be Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday, from 9am to 2pm. In addition, the Illa Carlemany stand will expand its customer service hours for this weekend, from 9 am to 7:30 pm.

Beyond skiing, Grandvalira will put into operation some of the activities of the Grau Roig sector, such as snowshoe excursions, the construction of igloos, archery, orientation challenges and ARVA.

Pas de la Casa Sector:
Tracks: Direct 1, Abelletes, Jardí, Fletxa, Escola and Llac.
Facilities: TSD4 Solana, TSD6 Font Negre, TC Pioners, Roulant Tapestry Snow Garden Abelletes.
Ski and Snowboard School Service: snow garden. Collective and private classes.
Ticket offices: Pas de la Casa and Costa Rodona building.
Restoration: Abelletes and Font Negre.

Grau Roig sector:
Pistes: Track Llarga, Pala Nova, Bosc and Debutants.
Facilities: TSD6 Pic Blanc, TK Pessons I and Tsf4 xavi.
Ski and Snowboard School Service: snow garden and nursery. Collective and private classes. Open shop.
Lockers: snow flower, school and Cubil.
Restoration: Pulka, Tres Estanys, Cubil and Coll Blanc.

Grandvalira expects the snow season to last until April 13 and will have 143 days, the same as winter 2018-19, as long as the weather conditions are favorable.
