Throughout the winter season, Esquiades.com has led more than 144,000 people to ski. The average expenditure per reservation has increased compared to the previous year (704 euros versus 619 euros).

A difficult season when it comes to meteorology

Unlike the previous one, this has been a record ski season. The lack of snowfall at the beginning of the winter campaign meant that some ski areas on the Peninsula could not open during the December Bridge and Christmas.

Even so, the general snowfall of January allowed to record good data during the month of February, recovering part of the losses of the previous months. In some cases, such as Sierra Nevada , the tortilla was even turned around. The Andalusian station was one of the ones that received more rainfall and was reinforced in front of its competitors.

The graph shows the snow history of this season compared to those of past seasons. Immediately it is clear that it has been a campaign with unfavorable weather conditions , although the ski resorts have managed to solve them very well. Grandvalira, for example, has opened the whole season in response to the lack of snow with intense work of inivation.

As far as ski resorts are concerned, this season's ranking is led by Tignes (with a score of 8.6 out of 10 based on 214 opinions). They are followed by Baqueira Beret (8.4 based on 895 reviews), Ordino Arcalís (8.3 based on 1,228 reviews), Grandvalira (8.2 based on 16,540) and Cerler (8.2 based on 1,625 reviews).

Boom of new technologies

The sales volume of Esquiades.com through mobile phones and tablets continues to grow year after year. This winter, 39% of the reservations have been made through the App and mobile, which represents an increase of 9.4% compared to last season.

On the other hand, our mobile application has received more than 30,000 downloads on Android devices and more than 14,000 downloads on iOS.
