Dan Atherton breaks the French hegemony and wins the Maxiavalanche Europ Cup at the Vallnord Bike Park
The British Dan Atherton has premiered in the Maxiavalanche Europ Cup with a victory that breaks with the French hegemony of recent years. This Sunday the finals of the 11th edition of the Maxiavalanche took place in the Vallnord Bike PArk. A test that has been qualified by the bikers as one of the hardest and most physical of the circuit. Now, Vallnord is preparing to host the Catalan Cup of DH that will be the test of the World Cup 2013.
"We all agree that it is one of the toughest marathon races" explained Dan Atherton a few seconds after becoming the winner of the Maxiavalanche Europ Cup that took place this weekend at the Vallnord Bike Park and that has concentrated on More than 600 international riders.
