Vallnord closes the year with an average of 9,000 skiers per day

Vallnord closes 2012 with a good record of skiers. During the first part of the Christmas holiday it has registered an average of 9,000 skiers per day between its three sectors. For the period of the Epiphany it is expected to increase this number, 27 to 29 have been recorded up to 10,500 skiers per day! The good weather and snow conditions have caused that many skiers have opted for a getaway in the snow. In many cases, this break is up to 4 days in average.
Families are again the higher profile of the skiers who have visited Vallnord. From Catalonia, Madrid and Valencia reaches the largest influx of skiers. Outside Spain customers include arrivals from Britain, France and Russia, among others. Snow Conditions The three sectors (Arcalis, Arinsal and Pal) have good snow conditions. Provide between 90% and 100% of its slopes and lifts open with thicknesses between 30 and 110 cms. The quality of the snow is kept dust and hard.
