Boí Taüll 2024 Ski Mountaineering World Cup Ceremony
Last January 27th and 28th, the Catalan resort of Boi Taüll became the venue for one of the ISMF World Cup Skimo 2024 events, after having successfully hosted the World and European Cups in past years. During this weekend, the Vall de Boí has been home to more than 200 people linked to the celebration of the Cup, with the participation of nearly 100 athletes from 16 countries, accompanied by their coaches and trainers.
During the Cup, 2 official races were held (Sprint and Mixed Relay), both aimed at highlighting the essence of ski mountaineering and taking advantage of the reliefs of the Boí Taüll resort. This mountain resort in Alta Ribagorça offers a skiable ski area of 550 hectares and more than 45 kilometers of ski slopes. It also has the highest skiable altitude in the Pyrenees (maximum altitude of 2,751 m and minimum altitude of 2,040 m), 43 ski slopes and 4 ski mountaineering itineraries.
More than 200 people accredited for the ISMF World Cup Skimo Boí Taüll 2024.
The state representation has been formed by a heterogeneous team that has demonstrated a great ability and solvency in both modalities.
