Alpe d'Huez is a modern ski resort, located in the French Alps, particularly in a high and sunny plateau east of Grenoble. Built in 1936 and with a lot of history behind it , Alpe d'Huez continues to accumulate milestones: it has been chosen as the best ski resort in 2017, and it is no wonder. It has an impressive vertical drop of 2,200 meters and 237 kilometers of tracks, among which is the longest in the world, Sarenne, no less than 16 kilometers.
