About Hard Rock menu
What is the Hard Rock Cafe?
Hard Rock Cafe is a chain of restaurants founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton. All establishments are decorated with rock cult objects such as guitars of famous groups, and while serving typical American food, video clips of bands belonging to the genre are displayed.
The furniture found in each Hard Rock Cafe is perhaps, more famous than the food itself. Not only are donations of musicians and record companies, but there are also acquisitions of private collections. In 1979 the collection began with the donation of a guitar (Red Fender Lead II) by Eric Clapton, who was a regular visitor to the restaurant in London. Pete Townshend of The Who continued on his way, and from here the donations have been very varied to collect the largest collection of cult rock objects in the world.
