This ski resort together with Val d’Isère were formerly known as Espace Killy. Tignes is located in the Savoie region and is known for being the highest ski resort in Europe as well as having the longest ski season in Europe. Its winter ski season stretches out from the beginning of December all they way through to May. There’s also the Grande Motte Glacier where you can even ski during the Summer!

What's the best way to get to Tignes? 

If you are considering driving there, this can be a great option as you'll be able to plan your route and take in the beautiful scenery on your way there. This will also give you more flexibility with your booking dates and may even be the cheapest option. 

If you have a long drive and would rather find a more convenient means of transportation such as a plane, the nearest airports to Tignes Ski Resort are Chambery and Geneva, both of which offer bus transfers to and from there. Chambery Airport is a 40-minute drive to Tignes and, Geneva Airport is 2 hours and 30 mins away.
