2* Hotel Hermus Ski - Stay near the Funicamp!
The Hermus Ski Hotel is located in Encamp, Andorra. It is perfect for skiers, as it is located a few metres from the Funicamp that gives a direct access to the Encamp sector slopes in Grandvalira (free with the ski pass). For skiing in Vallnord you will have to move with your own vehicle. The hotel is also very close to Andorra's shopping area, it's less than 10km away!
It is a simple but decent accommodation, which is being refurnished and improving its facilities day after day. It has also got a café with a fireplace, a restaurant and a games room. All rooms are triple and quadruple and have small bunk beds. It's a cheap option, very good for young people.
A set menu is offered for dinner. The menu us formed by starters (a spoon dish), a main course, a second course, a side dish, salad and dessert. It's served as a buffet. Even though you may have only 1 option, you can repeat as many times you like. Drinks are not included.
Important: The reception's timetable is from 7.30 am to 12 pm. In order to guarantee the check in you should have to arrive between the hours indicated.

"The staff were brilliant, accomodating us with anything we needed and really friendly. We spent several evenings chatting with the staff in the bar area and we were made to feel like we were at home. They also provided me with a hairdryer which was very welcome as I left mine at home! Iv stayed in this hotel twice now and would defiantly reuen a third time. The rooms are simple but provide everything you need, hot showers, warm rooms and beds! The value for money is excellent too given how close the hotel Ian situated to the funnicamp!

"The attention of the staff has been quite good. We paid cheaply and we would not be much either."

The heating was not going, then we were told that we had to open a screw to get the air out, but then we had to be careful to close it when water started to come out, which happened 3 hours later (at 2 in the morning) . "The rooms are basic but quite acceptable, but the beds and cushions are really of very poor quality. The springs protrude on all sides and the cushions are exaggeratedly flat and soft, which if you go there to ski you need to rest well, do not get up with the backs of the neck and the back made crumbs. On the other hand there is only a super narrow closet to use and with hangers that can only be hung inside ... There is not even an anorac. We had a folding table ... That could not be knocked down due to lack of support. Let the table be folded without being able to use it. The only thing that can be valued is the cleaning because in addition the radiators were off. We open one to dry the gloves a little. And also value TV and wifi, but we would prefer a good accommodation than a TV. You do not go there to watch the tv. And finally, in the meals does not enter the drink, nor tap water. They serve you the bottle for 1.5. It's a shame, because they are very nice."

"They helped me with my intolerances to certain foods and they were very competent, something very difficult to find traveling and the preucupacion of putting a bad one. I was very good and the deal was flawless. The staff was very attentive to make everyone feel at home and we will all be back. ???? It is also two steps from the cable car ????????"
