About
The GHM Monachil Hotel is an excellent mountain hotel, located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, internationally recognised as Biosphere Reserve.
400 metres away there is the Parador I chairlift that accesses the Sierra Nevada ski resort slopes and the Borreguiles cable-car.
During winter, the main attraction of the hotel is the good location, right next to the slopes and the accesses, and guests can leave and return to the hotel skiing. So, ski in and ski out during your winter holidays.
During summer, when Sierra Nevada has no snow and forgets the icy landscapes the mountain range reveals dreamlike landscapes. This hotel is in the heart of the park, so it is perfect for a quiet stay in nature.

"I asked for a room with a view and it was granted. The room was very well heated, we were even hot with very low temperatures. The hotel has many additional services (we also use the spa). The guy from the equipment rental shop was very nice and helped us a lot. Leaving the hotel with your skis on is always good."
"By phone I reserved a parking space and then they had no available. Looks like it was a mix-up. It is in the upper part of Sierra Nevada and you must walk to get to the town center (9 minutes approx but with a slope)"

"The location is very good."
"They do not follow the covid-19 protocol in the dining room. They claim to do two shifts but they all show up there at the same time and no one tells you anything. Entire families enter without a mask. The staff plays crazy until a customer complains about it. Windows closed in a dining room with 100 people ... We left scared. When filing an official complaint, a worker told us that they knew, that "it was the company's policy not to disturb the customer.""

"I loved the situation of the hotel, the meals were good, and with the ideal staff. Although you must leave the room at 12 noon, you can take a shower before going to a common shower and they will give you a towel. "That is at the foot of the track"
"The reception staff was not when you needed it and they try to charge you more for the equipment, in general a very unprofessional department, since I work in one and the clients are not treated that way. The lousy food, with each dish worse, the dining room staff very majete. In the rooms there were fluffs that due to their size should be there months ago. I do not recommend renting the material at the hotel."
