3* Hotel Catalunya is located in Pas de la Casa. During the winter, the location of the hotel is excellent for skiing: it's only 50 metres away from the ski lift to the Pas de la Casa sector in Grandvalira. In summer, Pas de la Casa is also great to enjoy the nature surrounding the village. This village offers a great shopping centre and also a sports centre (with water activities, jacuzzi, fitness room, etc).
The hotel was recently renewed and has 46 rooms, which can be double (with double bed or twin beds), triple (with three single beds) or quadruple (with a double bed and two single beds). This hotel also offers free ski lockers (with a 5€ deposit to be paid at reception). There is a public car park near the hotel (about 150m from the hotel). There is Wi-Fi connection in all the hotel and in the reception area you will also find computers with internet access. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and dinner. Fancy lunch at the hotel? The bar offers a daily menu.
What can you do in your free time? At the hotel's bar there's a pool table, table football and video games machines.

"I liked the proximity you have with the sky tracks, that's why we chose that hotel. We liked the treatment of the brunette receptionist of the morning shift (I think she was Ecuadorian), very kind and super attentive."
"The receptionist treatment late / night, blonde, half foreign hair. Dry, moody and not very receptive. Among other conversations, the next day we asked for an umbrella to pick up the car because it rained a lot, and he answered us with bad humor and did not care to look, instead the bar owner, with a lot of kindness lent us one without problem. The hotel dinner, they apologized because according to them it was the last day of the season, but it was a mixture of everything with "buff" sauces, inedible. The rooms that touched us, smelled of "naphthalene", both ours and those of our friends, the blanket that I took out of the closet, I only had to dust "to what with my allergy you can imagine the night," and the bedspread our bed, part of old with balls, has not washed for centuries, with blood or chocolate stains, gave "repelus" Anyway, I will not return, unlike other cheaper hotels, instead this by location in track is fabulous, what a pity !!!"

"The Hotel location is perfect for going skiing, the lifts are just about 40m from the doorstep.
It offers a ski locker per room which is good enough to hold the wet skis for the night.
The Staff is super helpful and very kind in every way."
"The food at the hotel restaurant is very basic and not really good, juices, coffee, and pastries are barely edible.
The Wifi is really a pain to connect to, always difficult to maintain a stable bandwidth.
Rooms are not at all soundproofed, which is difficult to accept in the morning and at night when drunken people are screaming in the streets."

"Overall, best hotel for its price at pas de la casa. Very good breakfast and dinner, friendly staff, nice enough rooms if you ski/snowboard all day. Excellent water pressure. For those that complain about the heat (too hot), there is a knob in the heater: try turning it!!!"
