About the accommodation

In the Cal Forner hostel, we offer you a comfortable and quiet accommodation for your stay in Andorra. The Cal Forner hostel is perfectly located in the center of Andorra la Vella, very close to the commercial areas of the city, 5 minutes by car from the Caldea thermal spa center and only 20 minutes from the Grandvalira ski resort. Near the Cal Forner hostel is the Casa de la Vall, the former headquarters of the General Council of Andorra, which has retained all its charm.

Hostal Cal Forner also has its own bakery in the lower part of the hostel, where you can taste typical sweets from Andorra. Eating breakfast at the hostel is a pleasure!

The rooms are well equipped with private bathroom, television, free wifi access, and some with balcony.

Both in summer and winter, its location makes the hostel a perfect place to stay.

To perform the chek in, it must be done between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. In case of not being able to arrive before said hour, the establishment will have to be notified. The contact number will be provided once the reservation is made.

5 Vicente Julian travelled with couple December 2018 Booked on Esquiades.com The cafeteria on the ground floor, great. Good products and good price. The waiters (those from other countries) great, attentive and pleasant at all times, both in the breakfasts and in the management of the room. The "national" (I do not know if she would be the one in charge) dry and false like her alone (the Catalan-speaking clientele with expensive ski clothes seemed to receive a more kind treatment on their part).

La cafetería de la planta baja, genial. Buenos productos y bien de precio. Los camareros (los de otros países) genial, atentos y agradables en todo momento, tanto en los desayunos como en la gestión de la habitación. La "nacional" (no sé si sería la encargada) seca y falsa como ella sola (la clientela catalanohablante y con ropa de esquí cara parecía recibir casualmente un trato más amable por su parte).

The room they gave us was, simply, uninhabitable. Two single beds put together for the occasion. Although that would not be a problem at first, it was the fact that the room was clearly INDIVIDUAL but there were two beds. Las agradables vistas del anuncio, a una calle céntrica y transitada era en realidad dos ventanucos a un patio de luces por donde ver se veía poco, pero en compensación se oía todo. Conversaciones y gritos de edificios adyacentes y las bajantes de las cañerías. Resumiendo: Inaceptable para una reserva que hicimos con toda la ilusión los primeros días de septiembre. La tercera y cuarta noche los camareros ya nos cambiaron a otra habitación más o menos normal (soy de estatura modesta y no me cabían las piernas si me sentaba en el inodoro) que se había quedado libre y creo que fue la chica la que reconoció que no le sorprendía que nos quejásemos, que ya se lo esperaba.
