1 Competition calendar

More than 100,000 people have chosen Vallnord to enjoy their Christmas holidays. The last days of 2016 and the first week of 2017, the resorts have made more than 70% of their tracks available to their visitors, from all sources . The days when there was a greater influx of skiers were December 28 and 29 and January 3.

Thus, the domain closes the holiday period obtaining similar figures to those recorded last seasons and with the satisfaction of having pleased the users despite the absence of rainfall in recent weeks, thanks to the great work of inivation performed by the staff specialized resort.

Vallnord - Pal Arinsal has received 74,000 visitors, 5% more visitors during these holidays than last year for the same dates. Specifically, La Massana resorts exceeded the visits received over the previous season by more than 5,300 people. The increase in the total number of users on these remarkable dates for the domains is a very positive balance. On the one hand, the data collected in the catering services and in the ski schools point to a happy and satisfied customer. On the other, throughout these days, the number of open facilities has been maintained and even expanded.

Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís has opened the doors to more than 29,000 people during these Christmas and Reyes parties . These good data repeat the historical numbers to which the Andorran resort arrived last season on these same dates. From the domain this achievement stands out taking into account the lower ski area that has been made available to users due to a lower presence of snow and, however, has remained at 75% during all holidays . However, these results consolidate Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís as a snow guarantee.

Maintaining the historical data reached last winter is doubly satisfactory. In addition to confirming Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís as a reference ski destination, it is worth noting the increase in spending that the average of the more than 1,800 daily users have made during these holidays, placing the resort's income 2% by above the figures achieved last year . Thus, from the domain a satisfactory balance is made and continuity is given to the daily effort facing the next appointments to the agenda, which will premiere the ECOA Skimo Race 2017 on January 14.

Competition calendar

After this holiday period, Vallnord does not stop, in fact, is already immersed in the preparation of various of its competitions. The next one will take place in Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís with the Ski Club and the celebration of the ECOA Skimo Race , formerly known as 'La Tomba' de la Coma , which this year as well as having been renamed also launches new routes.

The weekend after the ECOA, on January 21-22, Vallnord will continue with mountain skiing with an international event, the Mountain Ski Cup of the Font Blanca 2017 . On Saturday the Individual Race will be held in Vallnord - Ordino Arcalís and on Sunday the competition will be transferred to Vallnord - Pal Arinsal, for the celebration of the Vertical Race.
